Today in Box Butte County, Assistant Attorney General Doug Warner handled the sentencing of Paul Wesner for First Degree Assault. Wesner caused his wife serious bodily injury. He had a history of domestic assaultive behavior with his wife and other women, in addition to other assaultive behaviors. The judge in Box Butte County gave Wesner a sentence of 40 to 50 years.
