AG Peterson's Western Nebraska Law Enforcement Tour

MEDIA ADVISORY--Attorney General Doug Peterson and his Criminal Bureau Chief John Freudenberg will be traveling across western Nebraska counties to meet with County Attorneys and members of law enforcement. Their travels will be over a two day period of time starting tomorrow, Thursday, February 26th through Friday, February 27th. 

Mr. Peterson is on a tour to meet law enforcement in Nebraska and to discuss first hand how Colorado’s legalization of marijuana is impacting our state.  

The following counties have been contacted to participate:  Sioux, Dawes, Sheridan, Box Butte, Scotts Bluff, Morrill, Garden, Grant, Banner, Kimball, Cheyenne, Deuel, Keith, Chase, Dundy, Hitchcock, Hayes, Red Willow, Frontier, Lincoln, Dawson and Perkins .

THURSDAY

2/26:

9:00 – 12:00 Law Enforcement Training, Student Center at Chadron State College (Attorney General available for media)

12:30 - 1:45 Student Center - Meeting with County Attorneys and Law Enforcement 

4:00 – 5:30 Meet with law Enforcement and County Attorneys at Sheriff’s office in Gering.

FRIDAY

2/27:

9:00 – 10:30 Meet with Law Enforcement & County Attorneys at Cabelas

2:30 – 4:00 Meet with Law Enforcement and County Attorneys at Lincoln County Sheriff ‘s office.
